Summer is here. It’s warm and humid lately, with brief rainfalls every now and then. Baby G. has grown out of the newborn nappies, which we bought a huge box of just a week ago. He makes good use of all the milk that he’s fed and gained about 5 cm in height, as well…

The week started with a bunch of activities. We enjoyed the first baby bath in the kitchen, followed by Papa’s Schneewittchentorte for his birthday. Then we had a photo session to take a nice shot for baby’s first passport. Soon we can travel again!

Every day brings new surprises and new face expressions. Do you look more like mum or like dad? We still can’t decide. You certainly got mum’s ears, hairline, dark eyes, fingers and toes, but nose and mouth? Not so sure about that! 🙂 6 days: 8 days: 10 days:

A short 4-day road trip with the kiddos to make use of the spring holidays.

This is still the weirdest season of the year for me. Just as the last deciduous trees shed their leaves, spring is already waiting around the corner. Sometimes it’s hard to recognize this as ‘winter’, when we only wear hoodies to do stuff in the garden, with flowers and new growth everywhere.
