Easter 2025
The weather gods didn’t mean it well with us this year. We’re heading into week two with rain from mornings to evenings. Fortunately, the easter bunny has left a trail of eggs throughout the house. Moussaka awaits us for lunch.

Harvest season
The days are getting shorter and end of summer season is near. Time to harvest tons of apples, passionfruit, blueberries, chestnuts and grapes.

Hazelnuts
Whoah! Our hazelnut production increased exponentially this year. From a small bowl of nuts last year we have upgraded to a huge basket plus some more bowls. The nuts sat at our windows to dry for the past three weeks. Our initial attempts to crack them manually one-by-one quickly led us to buy a hand-cranked…
