The week started with a bunch of activities. We enjoyed the first baby bath in the kitchen, followed by Papa’s Schneewittchentorte for his birthday. Then we had a photo session to take a nice shot for baby’s first passport. Soon we can travel again!

Every day brings new surprises and new face expressions. Do you look more like mum or like dad? We still can’t decide. You certainly got mum’s ears, hairline, dark eyes, fingers and toes, but nose and mouth? Not so sure about that! 🙂 6 days: 8 days: 10 days:

A short 4-day road trip with the kiddos to make use of the spring holidays.

This is still the weirdest season of the year for me. Just as the last deciduous trees shed their leaves, spring is already waiting around the corner. Sometimes it’s hard to recognize this as ‘winter’, when we only wear hoodies to do stuff in the garden, with flowers and new growth everywhere.

Four years old. Time for his first big birthday party with his closest kindergarten friends. A mixed theme of dinosaurs of all types and the long awaited construction cake.

The days are getting significantly shorter and the sun is fighting to provide some warmth on our skin.

An all-time favorite of the Greek kitchen. A lot of layering work but so worth it. Only posting this because it was the best one in years, lol.

The weather gods didn’t mean it well with us this year. We’re heading into week two with rain from mornings to evenings. Fortunately, the easter bunny has left a trail of eggs throughout the house. Moussaka awaits us for lunch.

The days are getting shorter and end of summer season is near. Time to harvest tons of apples, passionfruit, blueberries, chestnuts and grapes.
