He’s got a younger brother, learned so many new things and flew to the other side of the planet to meet the wider family.

September 2025:
Favorite breakfast, lunch and dinner: Pasta.Occasionally an egg for breakfast.Helping in the garden in early spring time.We’re hiking up a hill in Nelson.The center of New Zealand.Followed by a stopover at Tahunanui playground.That perfect climbing tree. May it live long.Trip to Christchurch with V. and Dad. Stop at Nelson Lakes.Blenheim playground at the gardens.Beach stop near Kaikoura.Look at my shiny bright hair. Soon it will be gone for good.
October 2025:

November 2025:
Huh. What’s that? A baby? Welcome little brother!Picking flowers for kitchen decoration.Mowing the sheep paddock with V. and her scythe.Look at these bird of paradise flowers.Roasting marshmallows at the fire pit.Entering the Tahunanui playground train via the front window.
December 2025:
This year we have the most amazing advent calendar.Dinosaur stickers!Soapbox race at kindy.New Year’s Eve fondue dinner.
January 2026:
Always sleeping in the weirdest positions.Train ride at the museum.Dad just finished a chicken coop.Look at that train collection.Playground swing.Never under the blanket.Self made pizza for dinner!Cooking mandazis with Bibi.She’s very patient with her trainee.Yummy dinosaur mandazi.At the barber shop. That tickles!Looking great!Hello darling. Look at me.“Do we really have to do this?”“And again with Dad?”“And again with the girls?”“Really?!”“OK. I surrender.”Dinner at the deck.
February 2026:
At the Abel Tasman National Park.“Shh. You didn’t hear that.”Ngarua cave tour.Trapped like a fly in the spider’s web.Dad made another chicken coop.Enjoying lunch at the Grape Escape in Richmond.Bibi is flying home. So sad.Look me in the eyes, baby.Helping Dad building a wagon for the garden.
March 2026:
Harvesting heaps of tomatoes.At the center of NZ again.Ice cream at Tahunanui again.With the RC buggy at the beach.Who’s the egg head now? 🙂Wet feet at Dummy bay.Early morning at kindy.With the family in Christchurch, in the tram.Finally brave enough for that mega slide, with a little help.Stop at Lewis Pass on the way home.Look, today we woke up with the same funny hair!
April 2026:
We’ve got some chicks in the living room.Hiking up the Grampians with V.Waiting for lunch at the Afghan in Nelson.Tahunanui beach walk.Mututal entertainment with the boys.Wake up, there’s a rainbow!Cooking apple compote with G.Someone at the beach gifted us a freshly caught snapper.So much work. But so worth it!First ever dentist appointment. No complaints! Perfect teeth.Wanna hit the heavy bag?
May 2026:
6 AM pasta.Busy kids at work.Oh no! That’s why we only carry one plate at a time instead of three.Climbing like a monkey.Motueka salt water baths playground.Enjoying the grass.We have the biggest Granny Smith apples in our garden!Knows the world map to perfection.Autumn is coming.At that amazing tree again, while the poop nappy is being removed.The last day in kindy.Farewell celebration as kindy king. They say you’re a favorite with all the kids.Hot chocolate at the Tern Coffee House.Excited for our upcoming big trip.We’re flying to Sydney!
